CHAIN LETTER SCAM

Method#1

You received an e-mail telling you that you won in a lottery. In order for you to get your winnings, you have to send the same e-mail letter to 5 people you knew with their e-mail addresses in your address book. After you send it, there is a box that will appear on the screen that you have complied. You are told to take 5 minutes of your time to send the same e-mail letter to other people in order to get the equivalent in terms of money. That the cost for every person being send with the e-mail is 10 dollars per person or 100 dollars for 10 persons. The more you send, the more you earn money.

Method#2

You received an e-mail telling you that he is a founder of certain company supplying information about the name of the people living in rural community. They want to disseminate the name of their company to rural areas. You are instructed to send the e-mail to 9 of your friends. Upon sending it, you will receive an confirmation number to claim your gift certificate of 50 dollars. What's the purpose? To gather more e-mail address of your friends to be used for scamming activities.

Method#3

You are asked to send a small amount of money (usually 5 dollars) to each of several names on the list (with their address)and then forward the letter by indicating your name at the top of the list via post office. Many of this chain letters claim to be legal. They even include a section of the U.S. Postal Code on illegal schemes. Don't be fooled. They are not legal, you will lose the money as well.

What you are losing to this kind of fraud act is your money by sending it to scam artist and wasting a lot of money in postage stamp and photocopy cost of the letter for you to mail it to each one of them and the enclosed amount of 5 dollars. The more you send the names the more you spend money for the postage stamp and 5 dollars.

To convince you, they will indicate in the letter that it is not a scam or a pyramid scheme. They told you that is just an opportunity to help people to earn money and have a fortune for their benefits.

Don't participate this kind of racket. They even threaten you that by not sending, it will bring bad luck. Don't let yourself be an accessory to such a fraud victimizing other people.

Don't entertain any spam mail. Don't waste your time in forwarding it to other people. Don't be lured of knowing the great opportunity in exchange of the benefit in earning money. To be honest, it is a great racket that must be stop right at the source.

This scheme will never get you rich despite their claim. You are the one breaking the law. Don't let yourself blinded by this kind of opportunity. They are only pure hoaxes.
