There are many online stores in the internet selling goods and services for you to choose. You can buy anything your eyes desired.
You started buying the goods you need. Your small business prospered and became profitable. You buy it on-line store regularly it did not give you a problem. The payment method is cash before delivery.
The store billed you an invoice as soon as they received the orders. You regularly pay what you bought through internet account of the seller.
Stealing your personal information details of your account and the account of the seller in your computer give idea of the scam artist to strike.  They will advise you through e-mail that they changed the internet account of the seller for you to take it in your next payment because of some reasons you did not know believing the seller himself advise you to make changes where to transfer your payment.
You heed to the advice of the fictitious seller without investigating closely if it is true or not. You been billed an invoice to cover the ordered items you willingly paid without any malice  and doubts that the billed invoice is fictitious one different to the genuine invoice you regularly received. You only realized later that something happened. You don’t know the whereabouts of your payments when you received another billed invoice when in fact you already paid it in full. The changed account is the number account of the scam artist not the seller. It deviate your payment in a second without your knowledge.
For your protection do the following:
-If you intend to have business of your own, entertain interested sellers in persons. Don’t entertain thru phone especially you still don’t know his background.
-If he makes better proposals good to start your business, make it in written form indicating terms and conditions.
-Request him to give proper identification so that you will know who they are you’re dealing with or sellers that can supply all your orders.
-Ask your supplier the best deal they can give you, the reasonable price, the quality of the products and the terms and conditions to make a sale.
-Try his honesty. Don’t trust him immediately and completely.
-In case of any changes in banking transaction especially new account number, it is better if you see the owner personally what make him to change the usual depository bank account number.
-Don’t entertain any changes of bank account number by phone.
-Don’t make a one-time volume purchase as it needs lots of money to transfer. Schedule the ordering during the month so that there is continues supply of merchandize to your store.
-Safeguard your personal information details in your computer against all malicious intent. Better protection can prevent scam artist to make entry and gather all the information they need against you.
-Don’t give authority to other person to make a purchase on-line. It is better if you handle it personally so that you will know immediately what transpired between the ordering and serving and you can make the necessary follow-up to your order especially if it is already entails reasonable delay.
-As much as possible, let them deliver the merchandize first before you make the necessary payment as token of honesty and cooperation.
-If you send the payment, call them personally to notify them of the money you will transfer to their account for them to fully aware of your payment. It should be a secured telephone number only you and the seller have access and know about it.
-Keep all the invoices they issued to cover the purchase you made and acknowledgment receipt of the money you transferred.
-Don’t make connection or business transaction with the sellers in the computer to avoid stealing both your personal information details for their advantage.
-Using non-premium telephone or fax machine may help to prevent scam artist to know your business transaction with the seller. It is important to know their fax number. Any deviation to the number you’ve noticed will give you an idea to be cautious and verify your suspicion to the seller directly in a secured number.
